Navigating the world that we live in as a young person doesn’t come without its challenges. The modern world is designed to make you question everything and kick religion to the curb for the sake of keeping up with ever-changing ideas and lifestyles. Without a proper understanding of what the modern world is and a grounded Islamic footing,  it can be very easy to lose yourself and forsake your Islam. 

In this module, we will unpack the fundamentals of what the modern world is, and how we approach it as Muslims so that we’re able to lead a normal life by placing Allah at our centre. This module will cover the following:

• The role of Islam, the Qur’an and the Hadith 
• Questions of Eschatology 
• Islamic Spirituality and Thought 
• Modern Education – It’s Theories and Philosophies 
• The Islamic World in Modern Times – How do we respond to them?

After completing this course, you would have a deep rooted understanding of the basics on how to navigate the modern world and its challenges, while still keeping Islam at the forefront of it all.
